in-house statistical quality control management system tracks every quality
issue, and all production employees meet daily to find ways to improve.
We regularly meet our company goal of less than .005 error rate (one half
of one percent, or one error in 200 items produced.) We're proud of our
record, which is way above industry norms. We even try to catch errors
made by our customers!
Quick Service: 97.8%
of orders for items we produce ourselves are shipped the same day, if
ordered by 12:00 noon Eastern Time (GMT -5.) Exceptions include Xstampers
and Royal Mark stamps, which are outsoured to a Shachihata Corporation
factory. (Allow an extra 1-3 days.) There are also occasional delays due
to unexpected inventory demands, last minute corrections or (in January
and May 2005!) floods.
